Jazz Combo

<
• Comprised of 9 - 12 graders, audition required.
• Meets during 4th period of school.
• Studies the styles, tonal structures, modes, harmonic progression used in jazz, swing, rock, Latin, & ballad music etc.
• Advancing knowledge of scales and scale variations, improvisation and composition.
• Will learn to use FINALE music notation and thus will arrange music that will be performed by the group.
